Journalism stresses proper spelling, grammar and punctuation, which is a sure way to make your writing stand out. A journalism degree can lead to careers in all kinds of media, and it’s great training for graduate school. An Associate of Arts in journalism prepared students to successfully transfer to 4-year colleges and universities.
