At Highline, the AAS in accounting will prepare you for work in a variety career paths by introducing you to accounting fundamentals such as bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll. With courses offered in the evenings, on the weekend, and online, the program meets the needs of individuals who are working professionals and future students.

Earning a certificate or degree in accounting will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in a variety of careers fields. Graduates may find work in public accounting, industry, government, and non-for-profit organizations. The accounting services provided to businesses of all sizes include but are not limited to payroll, auditing, and bookkeeping.
Bachelor Degrees
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Business Management focuses on in-demand technology and management skills for success in the 21st century workplace. You will receive a strong foundation in business and management fundamentals, including coursework in accounting, finance, data analytics, project management, marketing, economics, statistics, process control and management, marketing, and leadership. Elective credits make it possible to specialize in logistics and supply chain management, or accounting. Enough higher-level accounting credits can be earned to qualify for the CPA Exam.
