Cooperative Education
What is Co-op Education?
Cooperative Education (Co-op) Internships are an educational partnership between Highline College, the business community, and our HC students.
Co-op integrates on-the-job work experience with academic studies. Students earn credit and a grade while working full-time or part-time in positions related to their career and academic goals. It is a unique opportunity for students to apply their academic preparation to “real world” settings and situations. Cooperative Education may be referred to as an internship.
