Highline’s Global Studies program inspires students to become leaders in our modern, interdependent world. Our interdisciplinary courses provide students with knowledge of the political, economic, social, and cultural challenges that global communities face and the tools to enact change.

In our ever-interconnected world, employers want to hire people who understand international perspectives and the opportunities for global connection. An Associate of arts (AA) degree in global studies provides people with an understanding of the challenges that face communities around the world and opportunities for employment in international relations, public relations, nonprofit organizations, global management, and education.

GPA Requirement:

2.5 minimum gpa, A minimum 2.0 cumulative college-level GPA; completion of at least 23 of the total required credits at Highline with a minimum 2.0 GPA (known as the residency credit requirement); any course taken in the AA, AS, AAS degrees must be a D (1.0 GPA) or better.
