Philosophy

Philosophy develops critical thinking skills that are desired by employers and support a wide variety of academic goals while investigating fundamental questions about the nature of knowledge and existence and how we ought to live. Philosophy courses at Highline train you to evaluate arguments and ideas, appreciate diverse perspectives, and contribute to important conversations. We offer courses in a variety of formats for majors and non-majors, whether for transfer, vocational training, or life enhancement.

Career
